Electronics Engineer

A company who designs and manufactures bespoke machinery, supplying the biggest players in the construction industry on international level are now seeking to recruit Electronics Engineers to join their success focused teams in their Stafford and Midland's locations.

As Electronics Engineer your responsibilities will be:

* Design and development of vehicle control systems including, ECU's, comms networks, displays, etc.
* Analysis of performance levels for safety related parts of control systems
* Ensuring components and software meet internal requirements and external standards
* Authoring of requirements specifications, test specifications, reports, user manuals, etc.
* Liaising with internal departments and also customers to meet expectations
* Interface effectively across functions & regions
* Make reports/presentation for Senior Reviews

The ideal Electronics Engineer will possess the following:

* Degree or HND in Electronic Engineering, computer science or a similar subject
* An understanding of control system logic and an appreciation of functional safety
* Experience of CANbus design, development and testing
* Familiarity with off highway electronic control systems and machine electrical/electronic systems
* Experience diagnosing and rectifying faults with electrical circuits and control systems on/off vehicles
* Software knowledge for development of Electrical parts
* Intuitive user interface design
* Electrical technical skill required Model, Software & Hardware
* ISO 15998, ISO 26262 or IEC 61508 function safety skills and experience development
* Study, propose & Release Engineering Design changes in timely manner
* Apply engineering tools & techniques
* Project Management Skills
* Strong communication skills and be comfortable working independently and as a member of a team

Desirable skills:

* Experience of the C programming language
* Experience of developing control system algorithms using model based design tools
* Familiarity with off highway vehicles, driveline and hydraulic systems
