1st Line Helpdesk Support (Must speak French)
Role: 1st Line Helpdesk Support (Must speak fluent French) Location: Cleckheaton Salary: £18k - £22k To work as part of the Global IT team and provide 1st & 2nd line support for all IT systems and processes to all users across the Group, but predominantly in the Eastern Hemisphere. Full training will be given on internal systems and the right candidate will be supported through further (external) systems and network training. Essential Experience: · Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role · Installation of software and systems support. · Experience of Windows environment (desktop & servers) · Experience of a network environment (local and wide area network) · Experience of server virtualization would be an advantage, specifically VMWare. · Desktop support experience Desirable Experience: · Knowledge of Active Directory · Experience of QAD/MfgPro ERP system · Experience of Linux would be an advantage. · Knowledge of Exchange 2010 and Outlook Key Tasks: · 1st line support and problem solving and fixing support for end users on all systems (including remote users and remote offices) · Hardware maintenance and troubleshooting – desktops, printers and servers · Build and set up of machines in a Windows environment · Setting up and maintaining printers · User profile administration · Software installation and maintenance · Network Support (local and wide area network) · Phone system admin/support · Assist in specification and purchasing of new equipment. · Day-to-day database housekeeping · Record keeping / documentation for MIS Department If this role is of interest to you, please email me your up to date CV detailing all relevant experience in the first instance.
