My client is a leading Risk and Actuarial Modelling firm based in the centre of Glasgow. They are currently looking to hire a SharePoint Developer who will play a key part in shaping the firm's technology vision. The candidate will be required to do the following: Ensure we are making best use of the Microsoft "productivity suite" and other integrated systems. Influencing the incremental migration to the cloud through Office365. Design and implement new enterprise solutions based on the platform provided by the Microsoft "productivity suite". Facilitating integration with CRM Dynamics, Exchange and Active Directory. Identifying, deploying and using plug-ins and third party tools. Providing second line support and troubleshooting issues for the Microsoft "productivity suite" and other third-party tools e.g. Repstor Affinity. Conducting research to identify opportunities to leverage new functionality within the released by Microsoft. Maintaining documentation and other technical artefacts including: test script creation, configuration and customisation documentation, data migration scripts, systems integration maps. Training and coaching the wider team to ensure that technical knowledge relating to the Microsoft "productivity suite" is distributed where it is needed to support the business. The candidate will be required to have experience in the following: Strong software development experience on Microsoft SharePoint 2013 and above, including the SharePoint App model, SharePoint PnP (Patterns and Practices) and an awareness of the new SharePoint Framework for Office 365. Experience with Microsoft Office suite 2013 and above. Experience 3rd party office / outlook add-ins. Experience of SQL Database 2012 and higher. Experience with Office365 or a strong desire to develop skills in this area. Excellent software development lifecycle skills.
