The Role: Senior Support Worker/ Care Team Leader-Sunderland As a Care Team Leader, you will provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower the team in supporting Service Users to achieve their goals and aspirations. Key Roles & Responsibilities:Senior Support Worker/ Care Team Leader-Sunderland Being responsible for recruitment, inductions, supervision, annual appraisals, training, coaching, rota management, sickness and absence management Taking the lead to help Support Workers understand their responsibilities Supporting the Service Manager in managing transitions into and away from the service Ensuring that all Service Users have person centre support/care plans Empowering the Service Users to be actively involved in their own goal setting Overseeing and supporting the development of excellent quality within the service Designing, developing and maintaining excellent service user records Fully understanding and ensuring your team understand the principles of 'safeguarding vulnerable adults' The Candidate: Senior Support Worker/ Care Team Leader-Sunderland To be considered for the vacancy of Care Team Leader, you must have previous care experience with a minimum of 1 years' experience working as a Team Leader. Our client is also looking for dedicated and empathetic individuals, ideally with a full driving licence.
