Headquartered in Edinburgh with an office in New York, our fast-growing team is quickly becoming recognised as a leader in bringing forward-thinking IT solutions to market. As part of our continued growth, we are now seeking a Solutions Architect, which is a key role in the business. The key responsibilities are: · Technical specialisation in at least two HN Product and Practice areas. · Enterprise Networking (LAN, Wireless, WAN and SD-WAN) · Data Centre (SDN, Storage, Application Deliver, Servers, Virtualisation and Automation) · Network Security (Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls and IPS) · Unified Communications (IPT, Tele Presence and Contact Centre) · Cloud Solutions (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS) · Maintain generalist knowledge of all HN Product and Practice areas. · Provide technical pre-sales support for allocated customers. · Provide technical account ownership and continuity for allocated customers. · Contribute to the development of new and existing HN Products and Practice Areas. · Create technical leadership content relevant to their area of expertise. · Provide mentoring to Network Engineers. About you: Experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls. Experience of wireless surveys, controllers, and UC solutions would be advantageous. Hold relevant Cisco certifications. Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills. Ability to work a variety of projects. Essential Skills and Competencies: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to team with others to develop and implement complex networking projects. Strong ability to work within a fast-paced and high-pressured environment. Solid analytical skills to troubleshoot high-level, complex and technical problems. Position will be based within the Edinburgh office with travel to remote sites, potentially globally, for customer projects. Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
