BPS world are recruiting for a HSE Advisor to join a Global leader in the Design, Engineering and Construction of High Tech Facilities. They specialise in the Pharmaceutical, Nuclear, Waste to Energy, Life Sciences and Semi-Conductor Sectors. As the HSE Advisor you will be responsible for maintaining an Injury free workplace, ensure safe working environment and to provide Company management with EHS advice and Guidance. Responsibilities Implement Company ‘Core Values’ Implement Company, Client and legislative EHS requirements Temporary Works Issuing Permits Review sub-contractor Method Statements, Risk Assessments & COSHH Assessments Oversee site activities to maintain safe work places, compliance with Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Safe Plans of Action Undertake Safe Behaviour Observation Undertake supplier / sub-contractor competency assessment Undertake formal project health, safety and environmental inspections Undertake adverse event investigation and reporting when required Collate accident statistics and undertake trend analysis. Input adverse event report information onto the Global FE EHS database Monitor company waste management system and input data if required onto the ‘SMART Waste’ website Provide safety training including, Office Safety Training, EHS Procedural Training, SBO & SPA training, Look See Act training Liaise with contractors to improve safety standards Essential Construction, Engineering or Civil Engineering experience NEBOSH Certificate Safety management experience Knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation Computer literate, as minimum Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint Able to deliver training to internal team members, sub-contractors and consultants For the opportunity to join one of the UK's leading EPC contractors and gain experience on one of the largest nuclear construction projects please contact Michael Smith or apply now.
