CREDIT CONTROL MANAGER
Credit ControlManager Walker Fire (UK) Ltd are a UK leading fire protection company with offices across the country. Walker Fire are now looking to recruit a Credit Control Manager to join their impressive team. Successful candidates must be committed, professional and demonstrate a willingness to succeed. You will always be on the lookout for ways to improve, innovate and share these ideas with senior management. AsCredit Control Manageryou will be required to organise, oversee and manage the day-to-day running of the department and to ensure that the company is not exposed to bad debt andthat colleagues are delivering excellent customer service and support to customers, colleagues and senior management. You will be responsible for the management, motivation and development of a team of Credit Controllers, leading your team to success. Responsibilities: Pro-actively managethe credit control team members guaranteeing the delivery of excellent customer service, high quality workmanship and promoting our disciplines. Reduce the company’s exposure to bad debt with a proactive approach to the Debtors Ledger. Managing credit checks in a timely manner, ensuring the correct procedures are being followed. Auditing the team’s work on a regular basis for quality, accuracy, consistency, effectiveness and customer service. Reviewing and implementing of processes. Working together across all departments, initiating joint approaches to delivering services, especially the Invoicing Department. Attending monthly managers meetings, reporting targets, objectives and communicating any constructive feedback and suggestions. Addressing customer queries / complaints in an efficient and timely manner. Participating in recruitment and retention of employees. Motivating, training and coaching the team members on new initiatives / disciplines. Developing, performance managing and appraisals. Resolving conflicts, disagreements and problems quickly and professional and updating the Administrations Director with outcomes. Authorising holidays, absence and advising HR Department. Essential Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role within Credit Control. An understanding of Health and Safety at work. The ability to hold an autonomous role and demonstrate good time management. Strong attention to details andaccuracy. Exemplary written and verbal communication skills. Full clean EU driving licence.
