Robert Half Devon & Cornwall have been tasked by a great existing client of ours to recruit a part-time Sales Ledger Clerk, on initially a Temporary basis.

Our Client is located in modern offices just outside Exeter in Honiton. They have seen exponential growth over the past few months and are still growing. As a result, an extra pair of hands is needed to take ownership of the Sales Ledger during a reshuffle of the current finance function.

Reporting into the finance manager your tasks will include;
  • Creating accounts for new customers
  • Raising a high volume of sales invoices
  • Dealing with invoicing queries in an effective and timely manner
  • Problem solving and dealing with complex queries
  • Input notes and correspondence onto databases/systems
  • Processing sales invoices
  • Account reconciliation
  • Ad hoc duties

The ideal candidate shall have a minimum of 6-12 months experience in a Sales Ledger role with the understanding of the fundamentals of accounting and finance. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate clear communication skills and the ability to be organised and driven.

This position will be on a part-time basis for 3 days per week (days flexible between Tuesday and Friday).

You should expect an hourly rate between £9.00-10.50 depending on experience.
