Broker Claims Handler
Our national broker client takes a very proactive stance on claims for their commercial client and is adding to their team by way of a Claims Handler with a leaning towards PL/EL/PI claims.
To act as a primary point for claimants and establishing effective relationships with both claimants and insurers
Advise claimants on policy guidelines referring to Insurers for confirmation of cover / pre-authorisation
Issue claims forms and guidance notes confirming cover where appropriate having confirmed with the insurer before issue
Ensure all contentious and high cost claims are escalated for review as appropriate
Process all Insurer correspondence advising members accordingly
Process all correspondence, claims, invoices, queries in timely manner that meets internal Service Level Agreements (SLA)
Work with the Sales Executives to resolve issues and communicate outcomes effectively
A background in commercial claims ideally handling EL/PL/PI claims
Time spent working ideally as a Broker Claims Handler
Cert CII or being willing to qualify
