Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Controller to join an expanding Manufacturing Organisation in South Birmingham.

Role

Working closely with the Finance Director of this successful SME business, the successful candidate will focus on driving improvements across the business in order to minimise costs and maximise profits. Duties will include:

Leading the budgeting and forecasting process

Improving margin analysis across a number of product lines

Business partnering with Senior Operational colleagues across a number of sites (all Midlands)

Develop more sophisticated MI packs for board meetings

Financial modelling to assist in winning new contracts

Leading cross-functional projects



Profile

Candidates interested in applying for this truly commercial role will have proven, recent experience working within a manufacturing environment with exposure to partnering with operational teams. Personality wise you should enjoy and embrace a fast paced environment and be confident driving change from the front. Ideally you will have a recognised Accounting qualification and have a career focused within SMEs.

Salary & Benefits

A base salary of £50,000 - £60,000 is offered plus pension.
