In-house management role with a major accountancy firm

The Role
The employment law team continues to grow and is now looking to recruit an experienced solicitor or legal executive to advise on complex employment law and related HR matters and to manage a team of junior lawyers, including newly-qualifieds and paralegals, split between two offices in the local area.
Responsible for your own portfolio of clients, you will be adaptable and flexible, with strong time-management skills in a fast-paced environment and liaising as necessary with senior members of the team. You will be extremely well-organised, taking full responsibility for reporting on work-in-progress, billing procedures and debtor control and with an excellent overview of costs management. Personable and approachable, you will continue to nurture relationships with existing clients and look to build new ones through referrals and external contacts. 

The Candidate
You will have a substantial background of at least 6 years’ PQE gained in a similar role, including demonstrable experience in managing a team;
Have an excellent understanding of compliance standards and ongoing awareness of current relevant legislation;
Be a strong negotiator, with a robust approach and excellent communication skills;
Proactive, confident, and flexible, have excellent time management and a creative, problem-solving approach;
Have good IT skills.
