Where you'll work:
You will work closely with the regional divisions of their public and commercial waste business alongside the national IS&T business systems leads enabling a standardised approach to reporting, analysis and business processes.
What you'll do:
You will manage business performance teams across each of their 5 regions in the UK and also within their national sales department. With a broad range of responsibilities, you will engage with directors and senior managers within our commercial depots, their treatment facilities and also their municipal contracts to ensure that best practice processes are in place. For this division of the business, you will be the connection between their operations and their Business Systems and Business Intelligence teams ensuring that their requirements are proposed to the domain leads and also providing support on any applications where required.
With all data in SQL databases and all their reporting in Power BI, you will have all data at your fingertips. Using this, alongside analysis that your team will create, you will be able to support our public and commercial waste strategies. You will identify new requirements and projects that will either reduce costs by increasing the efficiency or increase the company's revenue by identifying new opportunities.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all KPIs are above their respective targets and support in shaping the measures of performance that they use in their business. You will present these KPIs to the senior stakeholders in both IS&T, our Regional Directors and the COO when required.
About your knowledge, skills and experience:
- Degree level qualification
- Experience managing and leading a large analytical team
- Experience of managing high profile projects in an Agile environment
- The ability to influence senior stakeholders in a large complex business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
