Healthperm is a British-headquartered healthcare recruitment agency specialising in placing Filipino nurses, doctors and allied health professionals (AHPs) into permanent roles in the UK and the UAE. We are currently recruiting for an Online Community Relationship Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a rapidly growing start-up in the role of Online Community Relationship Manager. Sitting within the marketing team, this role is responsible for building strong relationships and fostering active engagement with our community of Filipino nurses. Our ideal candidate has a background in social media marketing with experience of managing large communities online, and an ability to create engaging digital content. You will be passionate, articulate and conversant in current healthcare issues and topics of interest to our community. You will be a self-motivated individual who keeps abreast with the fast changing nature of social media ensuring that new opportunities are realised.


  • Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists
  • Plan social content and ensure content is regular, relevant and engaging
  • Ensure that community strategy supports overall brand goals and objectives
  • Liaise with our marketing team on content creation and integrated marketing campaigns
  • Develop creative ideas on how to increase community engagement online
  • Actively participate in awide variety of social media activities such as blogging, social bookmarking, commenting, etc.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends
  • Use social listening tools to generate insights and identify key industry stories as they happen
  • Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
  • Respond to user generated comments to foster a positive community
  • Escalate user generated content, where appropriate, to internal and client stakeholders
  • Organise both on line and off-line events to build community and boost brand awareness
  • Participate constructively in inter-department and cross-service line communications


  • Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, public relations, and/or related field
  • 2 years+ experience as a Community Relationship Manager with proven experience of launching online community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program)
  • Significant experience of managing online communities and networks, and knowledge of trends and best practice in community management, as well as a sound understanding of how to effectively integrate both offline and online communities
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing tactical plans that build and nurture online communities (e.g. incentivizing user-generated content creation and sharing)
  • Strong command of popular social networks - design, functionality, users - and their best practice
  • Experience establishing metrics, gleaning community insights and reporting/recommending strategies that achieve marketing goals
  • Competent in identifying and diffusing tricky social situations
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • A creative thinker with an eye for a good story


  • A Filipino nursing background is a plus
