Project Manager - Bristol -£55,000-£65,000 + 20% Non-Contributory Pension & 10% Bonus
A market leading financial services organisation are looking for a skilled Project Manager to join their Agile team located in Central Bristol.
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, leading, organising and motivating Agile project teams to delivering high quality projects that provide exceptional business value to users. You’ll manage a number of concurrent high visibility projects using Agile or more traditional methods, in a fast-paced environment that may cross multiple business divisions and third parties.
As the Project Manager, you’ll use excellent judgement and skill to develop a project management approach that achieves project goals within the designated project constraints. You’ll blend traditional project management principles and practices with Agile development to fit large, complex, mission-critical projects, utilising the appropriate level of planning and providing the right balance of agility and predictability.
The ideal candidate will be a strong, internal-facing Project Manager who is confident in participating in in-house project duties such as inception, business readiness, training and stakeholder management. You’ll have a solid understanding of software development life cycle models, as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles.
You’ll require a proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies and a background in managing large, complex projects in a high-tech development environment with multi-function teams including Developers, User Experience, Business Analysts and Testers.
For this role the salary range is £55,000-£65,000. In terms of benefits, the client offer a very competitive 20% non-contributory pension scheme, 25 days’ annual leave and cycle-to-work scheme.
