My client is looking for another Mechanical Onsite Manager to expand their mechanical team due to consistent growth.

They handle a diverse range of customers and projects so the role will be varied. You would also be the main point of contact for clients, employees and subcontractors throughout the project.

You would be working closely with the company Operations Manager.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Onsite Customer liaison – Attend client meetings when necessary, understand customer needs, develop and sustain good relationships and resolve disputes and problems.

• Resolve technical problems as they arise.

• Continuous Site Management – brief team, operatives, contractors and suppliers, ensure targets, quality and end product are achieved.

• Work planning – assessing labour requirement for works and designating labour through weekly planning meeting processes.

• Ensuring that all Health and Safety measures are implemented and adhered to.
• Managing a project onsite from commencement to completion.

• Managing the team and site operatives in accordance with the programme.

• Ensuring the project is cost effective in conjunction with the budget plans and doesn’t overrun.

• Ensuring testing and commissioning is carried out in accordance with the programme.
• Communicate progress on a daily basis with the Operations Manager.

This role is temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent in the coming months.
