Your new company
This small-medium sized manufacturing and engineering company based in Chesterfield are looking to add a Purchase Ledger clerk to their finance team. You will report into the Company Accountant alongside a sales ledger / finance administrator. The role has been recently created to allow growth in the team as sales drive forward. There is potential for the role to go permanent after 6 months dependent on the company situation and the applicant.
Your new role
With an automated invoice processing system you will be responsible for matching, batching and reconciling invoices in Accounts Payable. You will process delivery notes and PODs in this standalone Purchase Ledger role, working closely with the wider finance team, using SAP and Microsoft Excel.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have experience in a similar Purchase Ledger role and be confident in your abilities. You must be immediately available to start ASAP. Experience with SAP is not necessary but will be beneficial, whilst Excel ability is essential.
