One of the world's leading business school is looking for a Content Marketing Coordinator to join the team on a six-month contract basis. You will be supporting the Marketing Manager to produce marketing content to promote the school's degree programmes as the programmes of choice for the world's top business students, attracting interest and enquiries from high calibre potential students from across the globe.


  • Planning, researching, creating and curating content about MBA and MSc, PhD and summer school programmes for the school's main digital channels
  • Working with the wider marketing team to develop and maintain content strategies and identify the appropriate channels to distribute content
  • Working with the wider marketing team and key stakeholders to identify opportunities and generate and refine content ideas, in line with the school's strategic marketing priorities to drive traffic, engagement and leads that deliver applications and enrolment
  • Keeping abreast of developments within higher education marketing and benchmark the school's content marketing against peer schools, to identify best practice and new opportunities
  • Assisting to source, identify, generate and research stories and opportunities to develop programme and student-driven content including developing SEO-optimised and engaging content for the school's main digital channels
  • Supporting the selection, training and monitoring of student bloggers and contributors including supervision and editing of content where appropriate
  • Producing student and class profiles and alumni success stories
  • Developing a network of contacts in the school in order to source and share programme-related content from around the school
  • Advising on emerging digital trends and identifying potential new channels
  • Working with the marketing manager and senior marketing coordinator to identify appropriate key performance indicators for each channel in order to measure the impact of content marketing activities, in alignment with the school's strategic priorities
  • Review key performance indicators in line with industry and sector standards and making recommendations on best practice
  • Undertaking in-depth analysis of website activity statistics and social media analytics to support the development of reports and recommendations based on that analysis, presenting analysis to key stakeholders
  • Working with the marketing manager to monitor a budget allocation to implement marketing activity
  • Completing and maintaining marketing finance records including raising purchase orders
  • Working with the marketing manager and senior marketing coordinator to develop and improve existing content including website and brochure copy and execution of e-mail marketing campaigns

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Educated to first degree (or equivalent standard)
  • Highly creative content producer with excellent attention to detail and proven project management skills
  • Past experience building audiences either online or offline
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and InDesign
  • Sound understanding of search engine optimisation, web and social media analytics
  • Able to analyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to inform future marketing activity
