The client: a well known luxury retailer

The role:

Assist Global Category Manager in creating a proactive category organization. Responsible for providing secretarial and administrative support for the Global Category Manager and Category Management team.

Key Accountabilities:

Assistant to the Global Category Management Manager

  • Provide input to the category management strategy
  • Part of analysis of global KPlst developing standardized analysis and continuously improving KPls
  • Manage the agenda
  • Support settlement of projects
  • Have an overview over the key activities in the team and be able to pro-actively act on them Follow-up on best practices Implementation across categories
  • Ensure development of the A&P tool and other relevant tools
  • Reporting of global KPls

Leadership, Management and HR

  • Assist In developing the people within the global category
  • Specific responsibilities as required by direct manager

Specific Requirements

  • Analytical and financial problem solving profile
  • Develops hypotheses, diagnostics and derives findings
  • Builds, evaluates and improves financial models
  • Expert on data extractions and interpretations across systems and regions
