Application Support Analyst / Engineer

Due to continued success, we are looking for Technical Support Analyst / Application Support Analyst to provide exceptional service to a growing and prestigious customer base, working with a range of cutting edge technologies in a forward thinking and dynamic organisation.
The tech support / application support analyst must have a strong background in technical support and troubleshooting. You will be involved in decoding technical software output and installation logs, SQL database investigation, troubleshooting, bug reporting, customising software tools and getting involved in testing newly developed software.
The successful candidates will ideally have a sound understanding of SQL Server, general infrastructure (windows OS and servers, virtualisation), networking principles and general application support. It would be desirable to have experience of SQL troubleshooting / SSRS / report building / T-SQL. As would programming / scripting experience with Powershell, VBScript or any similar language and software deployment experience with technologies such as SCCM, although knowledge of these technologies is not essential. An interest or experience in Data Analytics / Big Data would be beneficial.
Above all, the application / software support analyst will be a great communicator, keen technologist and a hunger to learn new skills and develop their career. You should have a passion for delivering excellent service to a range of customers and providing great software support.
