Your new role
As the Quality Engineer you will assist in the maintenance and development of the Quality, Environment and Occupational Health & Safety Systems. You will work closely with Operations, and Engineering on continuous improvement projects to drive efficiency. Dealing with customer quality issues will be required as well as carrying out any investigations where necessary. You will provide support on all issues relating to Quality and Improvements.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience working in a manufacturing environment with the ability to read and understand technical drawings and geometric tolerances. The ability to multi-task and prioritise you workload will be essential. You will need to be able to use the quality tools, PPAP and DFMEA along with experience of problem solving and root cause analysis. Excellent communication skills and customer facing ability is required.
