This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading customer focused solicitors practice in the Wiltshire area as their Best Practice Assistant.
Your new role
Will work in conjunction with the Best Practice Manager to ensure robust and commercial regulatory compliance across all areas of the business. The role will provide regulatory compliance monitoring activity covering AML, Data Governance and Security, Breach reviews and investigations as well as providing review of; risk frameworks, controls and process. The role will have oversight of the company risk registers including; complaints log, claims log and gifts and entertainment logs. You will also assist with regulatory training and on-boarding. Maintaining all registers required in line with the SRA handbook and oversight of Solicitors Account Rules.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have some Legal Compliance experience built ideally from within a legal services provider. Working knowledge of SRA regulations and Solicitors Account Rules, AML, Compliance Monitoring activity, Quality Assurance is desirable. As is the ability to forge both internal and external relationships with a consultative, business partnering approach.
