Our client, an independent prep school based in Hampshire, is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Head of MFL (French and Spanish) to lead their successful and thriving department.


Set in a historic building, the school, which has been educating pupils for over 50 years, is an independent school with modern facilities. The school has 300 students on role from age 3-13, the school is coeducational. The school was rated excellent in all areas in its latest inspection report. The school also gives all students the chance to take part in extracurricular activities inside and outside of the school setting.


The school are now looking to recruit a head of MFL to start in September 2018 on a full time basis. The successful candidate will need a strong degree in a relevant field, ideally also have head of department experience. They also need to be enthusiastic about the curriculum and be willing to be part of the wider school ethos. Applications are invited from well qualified and experienced teachers with proven track records of excellence in teaching practice. Experience within the independent sector is desired but not essential.


The salary range is on the school's own scale and dependent on skillset, qualifications and experience.
