We are actively looking for an experienced Finance Assistant for a reputable client based in Maidstone, Kent. Initially this will start as a temporary role however could go permanent for the right candidate. You will need to have experience using SAGE to hit the ground running.

Main duties will include;

• Process all purchase invoices ensuring they are matched to relevant purchase orders, delivery notes.
• To agree all purchase orders to purchase invoices
• Reconcile petty cash at the end of each month for head office and local teams.
• Ensure all sales invoices are correctly raised and posted to the accounting system. (about 10 per week).
• Perform bank reconciliations on a weekly basis, including processing direct debit payments, banking undertaken by fundraising teams and teams in other offices, and income received directly into the bank account.
• Answer phone queries from other staff and members of the public about finance issues.

Essential criteria
• At least 2 years’ experience of working in a Finance department
• Proficient on MS, email and excel
• SAGE experience
• Excellent attention to detail
