Pay: £20k - £27k
Working with an exciting Fintech company in Nottingham who are expanding heavily in Q1, we’re hoping to find 3 Junior QA Analysts to support their recent and expected growth. The role will provide the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, and depending on the projects you’re working on, gain exposure to automation and an environment where Dev and Test work closely together to produce seamless products and features.
What do I need?
- Experience or knowledge of Manual Testing.
- Understanding OR Interest of Automation, Regression, Unit and Module testing.
- Solid knowledge of the basic testing concepts and practices
- Basic Java (writing ideal, but scripting would be awesome)
- Cucumber and/or Selenium (ideal)
- ISTQB/ISEB Foundation certificate in Software Testing
- DevOps knowledge would be super beneficial.
- JMETER (or similar)
You will create and execute manual test cases for new functionality and defect resolution. You will test the company’s software prior to release; so, will need to be organised, self-motivated and work to strict deadlines. After testing, you will liaise with the development team to ensure all bugs and defects are addressed and resolved. You will also work on data conversions and configuration of software, ready for it to be upgraded or implemented. Importantly, Experience interacting with various levels of stakeholders.
The role is paying £20k - £27k + excellent benefits, including a bonus, generous pension, healthcare etc. On top of this, there are brilliant progression opportunities through the next 2-3 years.
If you have no experience in testing but have a degree in the software engineering field, to be considered we would need to see evidence of some level of self study, of going out of your way to break into a role as software engineer or tester.
