Your new role

This position is based at the offices of one of our most prestigious clients in central London – BDO, a global accounting and advisory firm. You will act as the main point of contact to partner with the client for a specific business area to deliver the contracted recruitment services. This will involve taking responsibility for ensuring that an effective and cost efficient service is delivered and that all business opportunities, both contracted and new, are optimised for mutual benefit. Exceptional provision of the service will include the following: • Proactively meeting / engaging with hiring managers to determine current and future requirements and develop an effective talent pipeline. • Developing strong relationships with the business to promote direct sourcing capability. • Planning recruitment drives and campaigns to ensure BDO secures the best talent. • Leading the way in developing and executing direct sourcing/candidate attraction strategies to ensure the highest calibre of candidates are attracted. • Working together with the Sourcing Partner to short list appropriate candidates, facilitate interviews and manage the candidate closing process. • Ensuring the recruitment process is managed in accordance with current legislation, advising the business on recruitment best practice and market updates.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful, you will: • Have a proven track record in audit or business advisory recruitment • Have experience working with Early in Careers recruitment – if you have experience with Experienced Hire recruitment as well, even better • Be a motivated self-starter who has the ability to work both independently using your initiative and collaboratively with other colleagues • Enjoy working with people and have the ability to interact with clients in a professional manner within a complex stakeholder environment • Be well-organised, be customer service / delivery focused and detail-orientated, to deliver accurate work within the agreed time frame Due to the nature of this specific role, you must be prepared to travel to South Africa occasionally to run assessment centres. The rest of the time, this role could be based from London or Gatwick
