Engage Education are currently working alongside an academy which is part of a large federation in the London Borough of Croydon who require a History Teacher to start after the February half term on a contract until the end of the academic year.
The school is a mixed academy based in Croydon split across two sites and is easily accessible from Central London or the surrounding areas. The federation itself also aspires to develop the teachers offering a range of regular CPD sessions.
About the role
As a History teacher you will be joining the Humanities department where all the teachers are very supportive of each other. The role itself will consist of teaching History from Ks3 to Ks5 and teaching other Humanities lessons as well. The reason for the vacancy is that the school is still growing and needs the right teachers to match that growth.
The ideal candidate will be available for an immediate start have experience teaching History in a secondary environment, overseas or domestic teachers both welcome. Strong behaviour management skills are desirable and also the ability to teach further humanities subjects.
The school will require a fully qualified teacher, NQTs welcome to apply.

Main Pay Scale (Outer London) UPS 1 and 2 considered.
