Raphaels Bank is looking for a New Business Administrator who will be based at its Bolton office, within the Raphaels Bank Lending division.

Reporting to the Office Manager, the successful candidate will administer all new business proposals and prepare recommendations for our underwriters, as well as provide general support to the office.


  • Accurately load finance proposals onto proposal logs.

  • Complete credit reference searches using Experian and Equifax bureaus.

  • Summarise credit proposal and prepare recommendation for underwriter.

  • Provide proficient document processing.

  • Audit loaded credit agreements.

  • Make effective customer contact by telephone to maximise business opportunities.

  • Take on all administrative tasks as required.

  • Support the underwriting team with all such duties as required.

  • Provide general office filing and other duties as requested

  • Carry out any other ad-hoc duties that may be required from time to time.


  • Experience within a Customer Services or Administration role.

  • Experience in a regulatory based environment (desirable).

  • Awareness and understanding of FCA regulatory obligations (desirable).

  • Proficient IT skills including: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

  • Good organisational skills.

  • Ability to work as part of a team or alone.

  • Positive attitude.
