Your new business are a long established and well known locally and are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join the finance team and work alongside the Finance Manager on a part time basis.
Your new role
Your new role is a demanding position, suitable for an all rounder who has Accounts and Administration experience. The role will include all aspects of bookkeeping and will involve working closely with the Finance Manager, as well as assisting with ad hoc duties as required in an SME business.Your new role will include using accountancy packages and so the right candidate will have at least 3-5 years Accountancy experience with excellent financial systems knowledge.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to demonstrate 3-5 years experience minimum in a challenging finance post and ideally have used SAGE previously. You will have Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Credit Control experience, experience of VAT is also desirable. You will be competent with databases and Excel., as well as other Microsoft systems. The right candidate will ideally pick up financial system and knowledge easily and be confident in their ability to hit the ground running. It is fair to say that this is a fast paced role and would suit a candidate who enjoys getting stuck in and working alone and as part of a team.
