An exciting opportunity has arisen with my client in Bishop Auckland who are looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team.

The duties and responsibilities are:

  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Preparation of BACS payment submissions
  • Conducting month end and year end reconciliations
  • Liaising with external suppliers for any invoice queries
  • Other duties may include updating the cashbook, credit card statements and other ad hoc role support tasks required

As the ideal candidate, you will be:

  • Ideally studying AAT
  • IT competent with good Excel skills
  • Experience of ERP systems
  • Demonstrate a good track record working in a PL role
