Location: Northampton
Salary: to £36,000 depending on experience - plus excellent benefits
Hours: Full Time 37.5 Hours per week

Your role with us
This role is based at our Northampton site but you may be required to travel to our regional sites.
As the Energy & Systems Engineer, you will plan, regulate and monitor the energy use in the organisation primarily through the on-site BMS.
By devising a strategy for reducing energy costs and environmental impact, your aim will be to improve efficiency by evaluating energy use and implement new policies and changes to plant and equipment where needed.
Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, you will review and analyse system data and develop initial recommendations on any maintenance changes, upgrades, replacements and manage the devolved Maintenance Capital budget.
Your profile
An Electrical Engineering qualification is essential, and you will have at least 3 years relevant experience of BMS systems, ideally gained within a healthcare environment. You will be expected to participate in the team on call rota.
You will be someone with extensive TREND BMS experience coupled with energy management and be able to demonstrate energy efficiency schemes on which you have worked in the past.
You will be a team player and an excellent communicator, willing to work with and alongside the Charity’s maintenance team. There will be an expectation to participate in the team on call rota.
