A prestigious organisation in Cambridgeshire is looking to recruit an Interim Category Manager with a quick start available. This role will be a 3-6 month contract, with possibility of being extended.
Your new role
Within this role, you will be expected to lead and deliver across a variety of Projects. With a well-established Procurement team in place, there is scope to adjust project remit to suit candidate expertise with Indirect spend or IT a preference. With responsibility for leading on a number of OJEU level tender, you will be expected to lead from start to finish, including; developing the procurement strategy, market analysis, tendering, pre-qualifying through to contract award.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you must have significant procurement experience with an understanding of OJEU a preference. You must be a confident and proactive individual who is comfortable on leading on their own projects.
