This opening is not suitable for an NQT, we are looking for an experienced Geography Teacher with over 2 years' experience teaching Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 and thus be thoroughly familiar with the National Curriculum. The school has a Sixth Form and Geography is consistently a popular choice at this level. There will be an opportunity to teach at A Level for the right candidate.
As a successful Geography Teacher you should have a proven track record of consistently adding value to your students in the schools you have taught previously. You should also be a confident and enthusiastic Geography Teacher with the initiative to facilitate the progression of the department and will have a strong career record in this respect; TLR would also be available to the right candidate.
