DETAILS: Role: SEND Support, including moving and handling and personal care.
Rate: From £56 - £70 per day DOE
Location: St Helens

I am looking for experienced children support workers who have SEND experience to support Milk’s Special Need Schools with Day to Day, Short Term and Long Term opportunities.

MILK Education are looking for candidates who have experience working with and supporting children and young adults with special needs and learning difficulties. Ideally you will be from a residential, health care or education background, however we will look are personal and other relevant backgrounds and experiences. If you have moving and handling, restraint and health & safety training this would be an advantage. I would also be keen to know if you are confident in personal care as we get asked for this specifically from special needs schools depending on the support needed. You will be supporting the teacher, other TA’s/support workers and students with daily routine tasks, class room activities and helping to promote social interaction and independence, whilst demonstrating sensitivity, understanding and patience at all times.

This role is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check, references and compliance by MILK Education.
