Your new role
You will be working as a credit controller, reporting directly into the credit manager. You will be responsible for all aspects of credit control, including effective collection of overdue debts, reduction of debtor days, opening new accounts, running credit checks, resolving queries, monitoring account performance, successfully achieving all set KPI's, and any other ad-hoc duties as required by the department.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar role will ultimately lead to your success. This position would be ideally suited to an up and coming yet experienced credit controller, with strong business to business collections experience. You will be confident in collecting overdue debts, and comfortable liaising with internal or external parties. You will be fully conversant with all relevant processes and all legislation around credit control. You will work in a dedicated and focused manner, and complete all task in a time sensitive manner with outstanding attention to detail. You will have a strong working knowledge of Excel, and will ideally have experience working on SAP.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a basic salary of £19,000 - £20,000 dependant on experience, and will also have the opportunity to earn a performance related bonus. You will also receive 21 days holiday excluding bank holidays, along with a company pension and healthcare scheme.
