Summary

Engage Education are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic qualified SEN teacher for a mainstream primary school based in Hayes to start immediately on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will be teaching a group of 16 children with special needs in Year 6, particularly with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder), Dyslexia and SpLD (Specific Learning Difficulties). S/he will have the additional support of 2 SEN Teaching Assistants and a Speech and Language Therapist.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching children with special educational needs and challenging behaviour. Due to the nature of the students a patient, caring and compassionate approach is needed. We are looking for newly qualified teachers or those with more experience.

Requirements

Recent experience and a genuine passion for teaching SEN pupils is essential. All applicants will need to hold a current enhanced DBS and be fully compliant to work in the UK. To apply for a teaching position holding UK QTS is essential.
