2nd / 3rd Line Technical Support Engineer x 2
An interesting role has become available at a rapidly growing company for a 2nd / 3rd line technical support engineer.
You will be working on the latest technology in an innovative and rapidly expanding business, providing technical support on a range of infrastructure related technologies as well as working on various projects.
The role is varied and will stretch from platform management, infrastructure/network management, projects and day to day support across a broad range of technologies, experience with all is not essential and training and development are on offer in any areas needed providing you have a strong understanding of some/most of the below, and can demonstrate a keen willingness and ability to quickly learn new skills.
The ideal candidate will have experience of (not all essential and the focus being on server/virtualisation over networking and security):
- Windows Operating Systems (Both Desktop and Server)
- Active Directory and Group Policies
- VMWare / Citrix (ideally Xendesktop / VDI)
- Netapp and/or other storage/back up technologies
- Cisco Routing & Switching
- General troubleshooting
A 'can do' attitude is a must and the successful 2nd / 3rd line technical support engineer will have the opportunity to fast track their career both in terms of knowledge and responsibilities. This rapidly expanding business will present opportunities for both more senior technical and/or management opportunities in the future.
