Working for our respected client in Horsham we are looking for an experienced wealth operations administrator to provide analytical support for a team of Financial Advisers. The role will include processing transactions, applications, servicing clients and technical support and complex queries.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the asset transfer process, managing queries and communications with Custodians and Adviser firms
  • Arranging set-up of requested assets, reviewing compatibility and sourcing necessary information
  • Liaising with external parties to settle Corporate Action notifications
  • Set-up and ongoing maintenance of Compliance rules
  • Investigating and resolving system exceptions within agreed service levels, escalating where necessary to ensure timely resolution
  • Identify trends in system and processing exceptions to help facilitate service and training improvements
  • Undertaking corrections and price comparisons
  • Handling of exchange trades through the Order Management System and external Brokers in an accurate and timely manner, working within our Best Execution Policy
  • Daily transaction reporting to the FCA
  • Daily review of cash and stock reconciliations
  • Weekly reconciliation for all Servicing, DFM and Platform fees and House account activity
  • Weekly control reporting across the Platform, including review and analysis of trade execution
  • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of individual and departmental responsibilities
  • Continuously seek ways to identify and improve inefficient processes
  • Assist with ongoing maintenance of processing procedures and support documentation
  • Frequent interaction with internal and external parties by telephone, email and in person
  • Build strong relationships through proactive measures and quality service
  • Assist with the resolution of customer complaints
  • Ad hoc projects when required

The ideal candidate will have

  • Recent experience of working as an administrator within a previous financial services organisation or IFA practice
  • Previous experience within a technical or analytical support role within Financial Services would be preferable
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communicator on the telephone, and someone who purveys confidence to clients
  • Strong excel skills
