Court of Protection - Central London -NQ to 3PQE Solicitor/Legal Executive

The Firm

Leading Legal 500 Firm with offices across multiple locations. The Firm is recognised as a leader in the area of Court of Protection work. The Firm has a dearth of outstanding lawyers recognised by Chambers and Legal 500 and they are seeking a Court of Protection Solicitor (NQ to 3PQE) or experienced Legal Executive to join the Court of Protection team situated in their London Office.

The Role

You will work as part of a team, providing support to the Partner and managing an independent caseload. You will be providing advice within the context of the Mental Capacity Act, dealing with brain injured and vulnerable clients. You will manage significant damages awards and provide support for clients who have ongoing Personal Injury or Clinical Negligence claims. The role will also encompass the management of Property and Affairs Deputyships, preparation of Personal Injury Trusts and Statutory Wills as well as addressing the needs of disabled clients (property purchases & adaptations). You will regularly engage and visit with clients and be attuned to their lifestyle requirements, overseeing budgets and liaising with treatment providers.

You will demonstrate previous Court of Protection experience, excellent communication, numeracy and IT skills. In return, the Firm offer a very competitive remuneration package and you will be joining a highly regarded team that is firmly focussed on client care.
