An exciting opportunity has become available for an IT Support Engineer to share our client’s vision of delivering better homes, friendlier communities - together.


Our client is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their internal technology and information services team. The role includes 1st and 2nd line support for the IT systems across the group offices, the remote hubs and schemes that support the business operations.


Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the day to day business operations for IT services to improve the quality of the end users experience.
  • To install, configure and provide desk side support for hardware and software to the end user.
  • Maintain the configuration management database for IT assets.
  • Setup and provide support for telephones, mobiles devices, printers and audio visual equipment.
  • Monitor end user requests to identify potential trends in software or hardware failure.
  • Identify, assist and advise on additional end user training and deliver IT workshop sessions for internal and external users.
  • Apply best practice for maintaining a safe and secure environment when using IT ensuring the anti-virus, patches and updates are applied.
  • To support the IT policies and procedures.
  • To provide support and training for new and existing technology solutions.


Desirable Skills:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Orchard housing management system.


Due to the nature of this role a satisfactory basic level Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required.
