What you can expect

As the Marketing & Communications Executive, your main responsibility will be to ensure that all products and services are communicated to customers in an engaging way and that brand values are consistent throughout all written communications.

  • You will manage and develop Marketing, Customer Support programmes & sales campaigns.
  • You will handle product launch communications and collaboration with BASF Sales and Technical Managers to develop product selling stories.
  • Also, you will be responsible for brand propositions and social media activities, such as, Twitter & Facebook.
  • You will control the marketing budget costs and manage industry events.
  • Finally, you will maintain the UK, internal and external Motor Manufacturer release of newsletters.

What we expect

  • You have a marketing communications skill set with experience and qualifications to C.I.M. (Chartered Institute of Marketing) standard.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as creative skills and an imaginative approach to new campaigns.
  • You have the ability to work on multiple projects at one time and to be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, ensuring you provide a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • You have experience in using social media as a means of communication to promote Brand awareness.
  • Previous experience as a copyrighter or technical journalist would be an advantage.
  • Finally, experience in the Coatings or Chemical industry is desirable.
