I’m currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk/ Accounts Assistant role based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Salary 20-22,000K / Permanent / Fulltime PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK/ ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

This role will provide a grounding of opportunity to further knowledge and to develop further within the Accounts function, the right Candidate will have the right attitude and be able to work in a small team and utilise their skills.

Main Duties;
• The majority of this roles sits within a Purchase Ledger function;
• Posting of Supplier invoices and matching to approved PO’s
• Raising invoices in an accurate and timely manner
• Posting bank receipts with remittances from customers
• Processing of customer debit/credit notes
• Responsible for looking after monthly Payroll
• Supporting the Financial Controller with other Ad-hoc duties


• Knowledge and experience of working in the hospitality industry within an accounts function
• Sage200
