Our client is an Institutional Bank operating in London, servicing the financial needs of European corporate, institutional and government customers who have a presence or interests in the markets of Australia and New Zealand.

Our client has long standing relationships with some of Europe`s largest and most sophisticated corporations including BMW, LVMH, BP, Bupa and the worlds largest diversified mining groups.

Role definition

The role is responsible for price making a number of G10 FX Forwards during London hours and managing market risk.

The key accountabilities for this role are as follows:

• Expanding existing front end FX Forward Basis risk-taking profile across major currencies, main focus on G7.

• Working in a close global team focused on diversity of risk taking.

• Actively trading Forward FX basis markets in major currencies.

• Building risk capabilities in front end Forward FX markets and related Interest Rate products (Futures, FRAs, IRS and OIS).

• Monitoring a variety of FX Forward markets, propose and execute trading strategies.

• Providing trading ideas, flow information and liquidity to the broader FX trading business.

• Maintaining strong client focus through best practice pricing service.

• Maintaining electronic customer pricing.

About You - to be successful you will have the following:

• Experience in working on FX Swaps and/or Interest Rate desks with a demonstrable revenue record

• Experience of trading FX Swaps, Irs, Fras, OIS, Spot, Futures

• Strong analytic skills combined with spreadsheet development ability

• Passion for and deep knowledge of the FX markets

• Apply critical reasoning to assess sensibility of trading ideas/signals

• Knowledge of and enthusiasm for the development of e-commerce
