Do you want to join an organisation who are undertaking an exciting transformation project. As their supply chain continues to develop they are looking to bring on board an experienced demand planner.

Ideally you are an expert on Excel, skilled in demand planning for high SKU counts and have experience of the Far East. If this you then please read on....

What will your days look like?

Drive demand planning and process improvements in line with strategic company objectives

Pro-actively investigate forecast accuracy performance, assessing deviations and supporting re-forecasting as appropriate.

Effectively plan new product introductions through collaboration with marketing team to manage and deliver launch expectations.

Review supply constraints, stock levels and excess inventory with Supply Planning and agree action plans to support KPI requirements.

Generating weekly and monthly statistical forecast reports, with particular emphasis upon true root causes analysis.

Capture and analyse promotional/marketing activities/events impacting demand by using demand planning tools and techniques to reduce the % error in the forecast process.

Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders with particular focus on Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to drive visibility and ownership.

Prepare and distribute key demand planning reports & KPI dashboard with recommended actions to drive performance improvements

Undertake the weekly / monthly analysis and review of order in-take versus forecast, and proactively lead Forecast Reviews with National Account Managers and Sales Directors.
Improve stock availability and OTIF % in facilities by driving the improvement of forecast accuracy, supporting the Company’s objectives for on time despatch.

Support the wider initiative of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) by aiming to integrate commercial / market intelligence into supply chain operations.

Improve ways of capturing demand intelligence into the organisation.

Identify slow-moving, excess & obsolete parts and challenge the Category/Brand and Fulfillment teams to manage their phase-out.

Effectively manage excess and obsolete stock process in line with policies, targets and budgets.

Continuously review all areas of your role and regularly assess tasks to ensure that they meet ever changing business requirements.

Manage and communicate effectively with Supply Planning Analysts, Operations, Category Management Teams, and Sales to ensure delivery of team and individual goals.

To be an expert in this role you will ideally be;

Graduate or similar calibre.
2 years+ experience in Demand Planning
Knowledge of demand forecasting techniques and models.
Ability to analyse and interpret forecast results that highlight root causes of issues.
Identify reasons for good accuracy for application elsewhere. IT literate with experience of ERP systems (required), business intelligence (desired)

**Please note this role is based approximately 30 minutes by car from Spalding**
