We are Saragossa, a recruitment consultancy based on the lovely Queen Square. We're looking to hire our first Accounts Assistant, reporting directly to the Head of Finance with the opportunity to grow the role into a number 2 position.
To start with you'll be dealing with all aspects of Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger which includes running a 50+ contractor payroll, regular reporting and credit control.
We're looking for someone bright and tenacious with a passion for learning. Someone who has excellent attention to detail, great communication skills and able to work in a small team, without the need for micro-management. If you have experience of Sage 50 then that's a bonus but as a minimum you'll have some experience in an accounts environment (this could be as an apprentice or purchase ledger clerk).
As we're a growing company, your role will change and grow over time (taking on more responsibility as you settle into the company) but it's expected that you'll be open to getting stuck into different tasks from maintaining our CRM system, issuing contractor documentation, making suggestions for improving efficiencies and deputising for our Office Manager.
