We are creating a new centralised function; our Offer & Supply Chain team will be using our global buying power to source all our products more cost-effectively and in the same way from a wide range of international suppliers. And we’re distributing them more efficiently through a single, simplified, company-wide logistics network. With greater control over our supply chain, we can set prices consistently across all our brands using the insight and expertise of our people, with less influence from suppliers or local markets.
Offer & Supply Chain will mean that for the first time ever we’re selling the same unified ranges across all nine Operating Companies, while investing in our own unique and exclusive products.

About the role:
This role sits within the Offer & Supply Chain (or OSC’s) Sourcing team. The Sourcing function is set up to source the products we sell across our Operating Companies, manage our suppliers and make the most of our scale to deliver high quality products our customers want, at a cost they can afford.
They have a great opportunity to lower the total costs of our new ranges while improving product quality, doing this by reducing the number of products we stock, designing new ranges to cost and sourcing high quality global manufacturers who can produce large volumes for a lower price per unit.
They will also source direct from factories and transform the way we procure suppliers, levelling the playing field with more competitive tenders that deliver the best value for Kingfisher.
As the Product Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for researching, sourcing and developing the vendor base for all DIY operating companies across Kingfisher. You will use your extensive negotiation skills to deliver sustainable cost price reductions through agreed sourcing techniques and play a key role in delivering top quality products that promote our brand.
You will be aligned to a specific area to which you will gain full understanding of the cost and manufacturing base becoming an expert within your field, whilst developing ongoing strategic relationships with vendors across Europe and North America.
- Proven ability to manage projects to specific timescales and within budget.
- Proven track record of Cost Price Reduction.
- Contract management and ongoing performance management would be beneficial.
- You will be an experienced Procurement professional who has a proven history in Supplier Negotiation, Discovery, Development and continuous management.
