The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, ambitious and dedicated permanent Support Engineer to join a world leading Unified Communications company based in Buckinghamshire.

This role will suit someone who has exceptional customer service experience, drive and enthusiasm to learn about new technologies and is able to work to targets (SLA's and KPI's)

This is a permanent role and based in Central Buckinghamshire

The role of the Support Engineer

The Support Engineer will be working within a team of talented engineers and will also work along side Senior Engineers and third party vendors.

The responsibility of the Support Engineer will be to answer queries (phone / email / raised tickets) using their problem solving and analytical skills and logging / escalating any customer requests and incidents appropriately.

The Support Engineer will be working with the Senior Engineers to resolved any escalated tickets and will be required to manage third party vendors and suppliers.

Skills / Experiences required:
  • Excellent customer service skills - an ability to communicate to technical and non technical audiences

  • A good understanding of IP telephony and basic networking

  • Problem solving skills - able to think outside of the box

  • Excellent organisational and time management

  • An ability to work to company and personal targets

  • Energy and a willingness to learn new skills and technologies

Location: Central Buckinghamshire

Salary: up to £23,000 + benefits
