About the role:

Reporting to the Senior Project Managers, the Junior Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of managing projects within the organisation, leading and co-ordinating across all functions. The Junior Project Manager must deliver to and manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders including their customers.


- Management of multiple small to medium projects simultaneously
- Effective stakeholder management, both within the organisation and the Customers organisation
- Develop mutually agreed Project Plans, between our client and the customer, to ensure delivery success
- Preparation and management of all project documentation in accordance with their project governance and compliance
- Defining project resource requirements, working with relevant line managers to secure and booking and managing resource in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Managing project risks and issues and associated reporting, escalation and resolution
- Management, delivery, sign off and approval of all contracted deliverables ensuring all required acceptance criteria is met
- Preparing and maintaining project budgets, ensuring that they are tracked and kept within defined tolerances
- Management of financial elements during implementation (quotes / billing requests / invoices / compiling expenses for recharging / overdue accounts)
- Monitoring and tracking all project activity and reporting the status of project schedules and budgets to the relevant stakeholders
- Effective management of Change Requests and ensuring that the Change Control process is adhered to
- Conducting project meetings (frequency as agreed by Project Team) and ensuring that meetings are documented

About you:

- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate with a wide range of people and support relationships between other departments, and the Customers
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ideally, you will hold a recognised project management certification e.g. PRINCE2, APM
- Show initiative, taking ownership of work, doing what is needed without being asked, following through
- Project Management experience in the IT industry.
- Significant project management experience would be advantageous
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is desirable
- Experience of Agile or Iterative development would be beneficial

You may have experience of the following: Junior Project Manager, Project Management, Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Project Delivery, Project Coordinator, PRINCE2, Prince II, APM, etc.
