Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to take the next step in their career into a Senior Payroll Officer post and work for a large well established organisation based in Paisley.

The main duties:

  • Working as part of a team to process a monthly payroll end to end
  • Payroll system reconciled with payroll accounts in the balance sheet, investigating and resolving outstanding items in a timely manner
  • Individual employee payroll queries are resolved in a timely manner
  • Responsible for ensuring that all liabilities are settled with, HMRC, pension schemes and other external bodies completely, accurately and by the agreed deadlines
  • P11Ds and other required documentation produced on time
  • Ad hoc reports and other activities completed to agreed timescale and standard

The main requirements:

  • CIPP qualified or relevant payroll experience in a high volume environment
  • Reconciliation of payroll control accounts
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Analytical with high levels of attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving skills
