They’re always on the look-out for top talent; they’ve set aside a joint investment of £1.5b for 14,000 new homes over the next decade and now they’re looking for a Repairs Team Leader to join their team and take on the challenge of delivering a high quality responsive repairs service to their customers.

You’ll be a technical expert and have extensive experience of delivering an in-house repair service and also be an accomplished leader of large teams.

Position: Repairs Team Leader
Location: Cheltenham, Stroud, Cirencester and the wider Gloucestershire area
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum plus job purpose vehicle

About the role:

You will be able to confidently manage the day-to-day activities of the engineers ensuring that all works are carried out in line with their customers' tenancy agreements, all in a cost effective and efficient way.

They’ll need you to motivate and manage their large repairs team and oversee the day-to-day planning of resources within the appointment system with the Repairs Manager, to ensure all pre-arranged customer appointments are achieved - making sure it’s right first time.

You will keep the team safe by making sure they comply with Health and Safety regulations at all times and promoting its importance to the team.

And you will deal with the team’s performance and conduct issues whilst also spotting talent and supporting their development.

About you:

- Overall, they’re looking for someone with great leadership qualities and the passion and experience to deliver a high-quality repairs service.
- Proven experience in a repairs and maintenance environment and an in-house repairs service.
- An in-depth knowledge of Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Great planning and organisational skills.
