Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, to join a one and a half form entry primary school, in Hyde, SK13 area of Cheshire.

  • SEN Teaching assistant, working full time after Easter in the Reception Class

  • Official start after Easter 2018 w/e 16th (week hand over)

  • Contracted until July 2018, however will review to offer permanent contract

  • Competitive rates of daily pay between £55.44 - £65.45 depending on experience

Further Information about this SEN teaching assistant opportunity;

  • ASC 1:1 support with a child in Reception class. The child started in September 2017, and is non verbal. However has improved communication skill, by using symbols and flash cards building on their basic communication skills

  • The child is generally very calm and quiet and does not display any aggressive behaviour

  • Personal care is needed (previous experience or a willingness to undertake)

  • Interests include sharing a book and listening to a story, completing tasks involved around the Disney film theme Beauty and The Beast

The one and a half-form entry school in Hyde is looking to recruit a dedicated SEN teaching assistant and experienced practitioner who has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs, the Head teacher is looking for an individual who would thrive off the opportunity to provide 1:1 support to a lovely, Reception child.
